In 1990 the first diaper bag was manufactured at a small plant on Highway 177 with a sign saying M&W packaging. 20 years and a name change later NORDENIA USA has become a textbook example of a success story, has won many awards and ranks among the nation’s top converters.
To look back on 20 years of NORDENIA USA in Jackson, Missouri, is to look back on 20 years of success. From a small service-site to the single customer P&G with only one product, the company has grown into a very diversified global packaging and industrial film company. Even during years of economic crisis, NORDENIA USA continued to expand. This development, is attributed to many different factors:

The encouragement from local and regional government as well as from the local business community has been and continues to be excellent, providing NORDENIA with incentives to grow further and create more jobs. The long standing partnerships with customers – especially Procter & Gamble – and suppliers have enabled NORDENIA to develop the best possible products. The continued support from the holding NORDENIA INTERNATIONAL AG, which believed in their overseas plant’s potential from the first day, helped NORDENIA USA to realize the ideas and projects necessary to convert a small business into a huge success story.
