In response to the considerable and unforeseen rise in raw materials prices, energy and transport costs in recent months, NORDENIA INTERNATIONAL AG, a worldwide operating manufacturer of flexible packaging, technical films, and product components, has announced price increases on its products. Polymer prices have risen by an average of 25% during the last seven months. As result, short-term price adjustments and price adjustment clauses are necessary. At the same time NORDENIA continues to implement aggressive internal cost containment programs.
The rise in prices will average 10%, depending on the product segments. These necessary increases will permit NORDENIA to continue launch new high-quality product applications in its various product segments, and ensure that it will remain a reliable partner for its customers and suppliers. Customers will be contacted in the short-term by NORDENIA.
