Greven (Germany)/Casablanca (Morocco), Feb 25, 2010. NORDENIA INTERNATIONAL AG sells its 83.4 percent of the shares in NORDENIA MOROCCO Casablanca S.A.R.L. The purchasers are the funds managed by ALMAMED, Massinissa Maroc and Massinissa Lux. The contract has recently been signed and is expected to take effect in March 2010. Jackson, MO/Greven, Feb 12, 2010. NORDENIA USA Jackson again received a rating of Superior following a sanitation and quality management audit conducted by the American Institute of Baking (AIB). For its exemplary compliance with the stringent AIB guidelines, the American NORDENIA site, which manufactures high-quality flexible food packing, received the highest mark in the annual Food Contact Packaging Audit for the 13th time. An AIB representative affirmed NORDENIA’s “very significant accomplishment, which is not the norm”. NORDENIA produces Germany’s best trainee
Gronau/Berlin, Dec 7, 2009. Germany’s best trainee in the field of mechatronics was trained at the international film and packaging manufacturer NORDENIA: Today, 7 December 2009, Alwin Jan Helweg was honored in Berlin by the German Chambers of Industry and Commerce (IHK) for the best result nationwide in completing his 3-year vocational training at NORDENIA DEUTSCHLAND Gronau (a program which normally takes 3.5 years). Mr. Helweg’s score of 99 out of 100 points and his “very good” grade were the outstanding results of his examinations. German Federal President Horst Köhler presided over the award ceremonies at the “Palais am Funkturm”, within the framework of the “National Performance Awards in IHK Professions” sponsored by the Chambers of Industry and Commerce.
