Automatic Packaging Films

Barriers against oxygen, water steam, light, or loss of taste, for example, can thus be implemented. The automatic packaging films can be packaged on customer FFS machines at high speed.

NORDENIA manufactures composite films using interleaving printing, among other processes. This results in a high-gloss packaging surface and protects the printed image against scratches and shocks at the same time. For special marketing promotions, for example, the outside and inside can be printed on both sides without a problem. Unprinted composites are used in the bag-in-box area (such as for baby food or dry products), among other applications. For optically attractive vacuum packaging (such as for coffee) with smooth surfaces, NORDENIA manufactures special strip-laminated multilayer composites.

The composites are laminated with or without solvent, depending on the requirements profile. Numerous material combinations, including (O)PP, OPA, PE, PET, aluminum, paper, and others, can thus be implemented. The films are coiled on rolls as duplex composite film or triplex composite film, for example.

NORDENIA supplies transparent, tinted, or metallized mono films made of PE, PS, CPP, OPP, PVC, and other materials. The films manufactured using the mono and co-extruded blown film processes are available printed and unprinted and are also provided with additional paintwork. According to the requirement profile, these films have special properties: the film formulas developed by NORDENIA guarantee defined smoothness values, for example, for optimum press operation.
