Nor®Shield AC is an innovative form of VCI-based corrosion protection – immediately effective, durable, and environmentally friendly.
With Nor®Shield AC (AntiCorrosion), NORDENIA has developed an innovative laminate which is extremely effective as corrosion protection in comparison to conventional anti-corrosion solutions such as oil, paint, wax, VCI paper, and VCI film. Due to a high concentration of the active substance and its rapid release, corrosion protection is immediately effective. The packaged goods are instantly protected from corrosion and do not require any additional corrosion protection emitter. Furthermore, Nor®Shield AC is environmentally friendly and can be easily recycled.

The Nor®Shield AC products work through active corrosion protection via an active VCI substance (volatile corrosion inhibitor). VCI is a volatile substance which forms a protective monomolecular layer on metallic surfaces and thereby prevents corrosion initiated by water and oxygen.
