Pactainer ED

They may be used for bulk materials at high risk of explosion and in explosion-hazardous areas, for example in the chemical industry.

In connection with grounded carrying straps, the dischargeable fabric of Pactainer ED and Pactainer ED Plus conducts the electrostatic charge from the bulk material to the lifting gear and reliably prevents any kind of ignitable discharges. The electrostatic dischargeability of the inside and outside is guaranteed by a microperforation of coated components that are connected by conductive strips. This process is patented.

Pactainer ED Plus offers additional safety: if the lifting straps are not directly grounded, the load supports are passed on to the lifting gear locally via a Corona effect and indirectly defined via the carrying straps. The environment is not charged.
